Is there a way to make income on a web site or blog from alternative ways other than selling products, clickbank or google products. Aren’t there companies that’ll pay 1 or 2 dollars a month for renting advertising space and pay more if trafffic increases? or picture ads instead of text?

3. Sell advertising for your site directly. This is admittedly a more difficult route for a small business site wanting to earn advertising revenues. But hey, as they say: "no pain, no gain!"

I believe clickbank has a guaranteed return policy. Something like if your not satisfied within 30 days, they refund you ….

Check into it. But you could buy something, then just request a refund saying you don’t like it etc. Not so ethical, but it would work.

Do you mean as an affiliate?

ClickBank let you sell other people’s product as an affiliate, or sell your own products.

First you need to signup with ClickBank. Signing up doesn’t cost you anything, and promoting other people’s product is free. You get to choose a ClickBank nickname which you then embed in an affiliate link so that every time someone clicks on the link and makes a purchase you get your share, which is decided by the seller and can be even 90%!

If you also want to sell a product the steps are the same, you signup and everything, with the only difference that you need to pay a $49 activation fee and then configure the account to sell a product. That’s an uncomplicated but detailed procedure which is way beyond the scope of the question, I believe.

You can use your seller account to promote other people’s products as well.

Another thing: technically speaking, you are allowed to sell a single product per account, so if you have say 10 ebooks to sell, that would be 10 ClickBank accounts… but there are a lot of PHP scripts on the net which provides a workaround and let you sell how many products you want from a single account.
